The Ottawa Business Journal is once again looking for the region’s fastest-growing private companies. It’s an opportunity for companies, regardless of sector, to be recognized for substantial, sustainable and profitable growth.
“This is a fantastic program that we run every year and that celebrates some of our city’s most successful, ambitious companies,” said OBJ editor in chief Anne Howland. “It’s always interesting to hear what each of the fastest-growing companies has had to contend with over the past few years and how they’ve come out the other side, particularly in these post-pandemic times.”
Eligible companies are headquartered in the National Capital Region and can demonstrate significant year-over-year revenue growth over a three-year period. In year one, companies must have revenue of at least $100,000. In year three, revenues must have risen to at least $500,000.

Applicants will be ranked by percentage revenue growth between year one and year three of their most recent three-year fiscal period. OBJ does not publish specific dollar revenue figures, only percentage increases.
The top 10 companies will be profiled in the spring issue of the OBJ newsmagazine, as well as online at obj.ca. All applicants will be invited to attend a special event in June. Check out last year’s winners here.
