Networking was in full swing Sept. 22 as GOHBA members and industry friends gathered at eQuinelle Golf Club in Kemptville for the 2026 GOHBA & Enercare Fall Golf Tournament.
The popular event sold out within just a few hours, bringing golfers from Ottawa’s homebuilding and development community together for a day of friendly competition, fresh air and plenty of catching up between holes.
Foursomes made their way around the course, with players enjoying the chance to step away from the office and spend the day alongside colleagues, clients and friends from across the industry. Between shots, there was no shortage of conversation, laughs and handshakes as golfers reconnected and made new connections.
Adding to the day’s community focus was GOHBA’s longstanding relationship with its charity of choice, Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa. The Habitat team was stationed at the eighth hole throughout the day, connecting with golfers and helping bring the charitable side of the tournament into the on-course experience.
The tournament also offered a chance to celebrate the companies and sponsors that continue to support GOHBA and its busy calendar of industry events. Rapid FC’s Tegan Jackson and Lenns Rony were out on the course cheering on players.
With the 2026 tournament filling up almost as quickly as registration opened, it was clear there was plenty of enthusiasm for getting together on the course. For those who missed their chance this time around, the lesson was simple: next year’s registration will be one to watch.
