SilverCity Gloucester Cinemas getting a name change

SilverCity Gloucester Cinemas will be rebranded this month to Scotiabank Theater Ottawa Cineplex Entertainment announced Thursday.

When Cineplex and Scotiabank announced a 10-year extension to the SCENE loyalty program last November, it came with a number of sponsorship opportunities including the rebranding of two theatres. The other rebrand will happen in Winnipeg.

The newly rebranded theatres will join the existing roster of Scotiabank Theatres in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and St. John’s.
