“The eBay channel has the potential to introduce our merchants to eBay’s millions of buyers, exposing merchants to a massive number of new sales opportunities,” said Satish Kanwar, Shopify’s vice-president of product, in a statement.
The Ottawa-based e-commerce giant has significantly expanded the potential reach of its merchants, signing deals that enable them to sell through Amazon Marketplace and Buzzfeed. That’s in addition to other sales channels that include Facebook, Pinterest and Messenger.
