The Telfer School of Management announced Monday it has partnered with Lockheed Martin Canada to develop new curriculum  focused on complex program management and defence procurement studies.

The program, which comes with a $50,000 investment from Lockheed Martin Canada, will be a Canadian first. It will follow the lead of a similar program currently offered at the University of Queensland in Australia.

Lockheed Martin says it is the first company to partner with Telfer in the program and says it will have a direct impact on improving defence procurement.
