A Calgary-based landscaping company with a major presence in Ottawa has pulled the trigger on its second acquisition of the year as it continues to expand its national reach.
Urban Life Solutions said Wednesday it’s finalized a deal to buy GrassChopper Landscaping, a 70-employee firm in Edmonton. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
With 700-plus employees serving more than 100 communities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec, Urban Life Solutions is one of the country’s largest outdoor maintenance companies. The firm combined its operations with Ottawa’s P. Munro Group late last year.
With generative AI on the scene and picking up speed, businesses need a partner to help them strategically integrate these powerful tools. And healthcare is no exception.
“It is very exciting to see our company continue to evolve into a national (provider),” CEO Steve Wheatcroft said in a statement.
“As a Canadian company, we are all proud to find a way to bring the best together under one brand, with one common goal.”
