FundMore.ai is once again the top Ottawa-based business on a major list of Canada’s fastest-growing companies.
The fintech startup finished in 29th spot on the Globe and Mail’s list of Canada’s top-growing companies of 2026 with three-year revenue growth of 1,102 per cent.
It’s the second consecutive year that FundMore has been the highest-ranking Ottawa company on the list, which relies on companies to voluntarily submit applications with supporting financial documents. To qualify, companies have to be Canadian-operated and have at least $2 million in sales in their most recent fiscal year.
Founded in 2018, FundMore uses artificial intelligence to streamline the mortgage approval process.
The firm, which has about 40 employees, specializes in an AI-powered software platform that allows underwriters at banks and other lending institutions to quickly assess an applicant’s creditworthiness.
The software analyzes the lender’s own credit guidelines and taps into data from third parties such as credit bureaus, residential appraisers and fraud detection agencies.
FundMore’s customers include major banks, credit unions and mortgage investment companies from across the country, including Equitable Bank, Meridian Credit Union and Laurentian Bank. In addition to helping those firms check mortgage applications, its platform scrutinizes applicants for lines of credit and home equity loans.
