The Ottawa business community’s most-anticipated event of the year has arrived: The 2018 Best Ottawa Business Awards are set for action Friday night from the Westin hotel.
OBJ will be live on the floor talking to award winners, high-profile attendees and capturing the highlights as they happen onstage.
Among this year’s notable honourees will be Giant Tiger chairman and CEO Gordon Reid receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award and Mitel’s Steve Spooner, the inaugural recipient of the CFO of the Year award. Plenty of people in the audience will also be buzzing to hear an acceptance speech from Canopy Growth’s Bruce Linton, Ottawa’s 2018 CEO of the Year.
