Thanks to a $1-million donation from local engineering firm Paterson Group, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation is that much closer to its $500-million fundraising goal to build a new campus on Carling Avenue at Dow’s Lake.

A gift of $500,000 to QuickStart Autism is personal for John Sicard and his wife Pina, who have two sons, Alex and Nicholas. 

In 2008, Hazel Smart-Patterson's bursary commitment for Algonquin College students started with women in business. Now it include women pursuing careers in STEM.

United Way East Ontario received the commitment of $500,000 in-kind from TryCycle to help connect 1,400 Ottawa residents with mental health support. 

The Schulich Foundation has donated $525,000 to Algonquin College to support students pursuing careers in the skilled trades.
