The National Capital Region’s conservation park will soon pilot a paid shuttle bus service from downtown Ottawa.
Gatineau Park announced earlier this week it’s partnering with transit company Parkbus for eight Saturdays of shuttle service between the NCC-run park and downtown Ottawa in August and October.
Two of the days, Aug. 3 and 31, will see the bus take visitors to explore Gatineau Park’s network of trails. The remaining six dates in mid-August and October will bring visitors to Lac Phillippe.

The bus will stop at 1 George Street, across from the Château Laurier, to pick up passengers at 9 a.m.
The service will cost $20 for adults, $18 students and seniors, and $10 for children.
The NCC ran a free shuttle from downtown Ottawa last year as part of its Fall Rhapsody event. The Crown corporation partnered with Camp Fortune and Société de transport de l’Outaouais for that shuttle.
