It’s that time of year: the Best Ottawa Business Awards (BOBs) are once again accepting nominations for one of the city’s most prestigious business awards programs.
The awards, organized by the Ottawa Board of Trade and the Ottawa Business Journal, highlight the innovation, leadership and success of dozens of companies in Ottawa.
“We are gearing up for a big celebration of local business this fall and this is the important first step,” says Michael Curran, OBJ publisher. “There are so many businesses in Ottawa and region that deserve recognition for their accomplishments. We’re eager for them to step into the spotlight.”

The awards span many sectors, representing the diversity of the local economy. Companies and non-profits located in the National Capital Region can submit nominations in the following categories:

Environmental Sustainability
Export
Human Resources
Marketing
Sales
Social Entrepreneurship
The BOBs organizing committee will also select recipients for CEO of the Year, CFO of the Year, Newsmaker of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Deals of the Year.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, Sept. 27 at 11:59 PM.
Recipients will be honoured at a gala on Friday, Nov. 29 at the Westin Ottawa. Tickets will be available in September. Stay tuned for more details.
