Ottawa’s biggest celebration of the region’s best and brightest young business talent happens tonight on YouTube and Rogers tv (channel 22). It’s the 24th group to be honoured in the history of the illustrious awards program, a joint initiative of OBJ and the Ottawa Board of Trade.
For the second year in a row, recipients will be spotlighted in a virtual event, which will once again be hosted by OBJ co-founder Mark Sutcliffe and Sandra Plagakis from Rogers Radio, KiSS 105.3. A host of local business and community leaders will be on hand to offer their congratulations – including Zibi Canada president Jeff Westeinde, who will be making a surprise announcement that’s sure to take the audience’s breath away.
Other highlights will include a musical performance from Ottawa R&B artist Jeff Rogers, who will perform a song dedicated to pursuing your “dream job.”

Lawyer Ryma Nasrallah doubles down on her gift to The Ottawa Hospital
Ryma Nasrallah recently took her charitable giving one step further, making her largest ever donation to the Ottawa Hospital.
“The pandemic has forced OBJ and the Board of Trade to become experts at virtual events,” says OBJ publisher Michael Curran.
“Thanks to our friends at Rogers tv, I think this show will set a new standard for our events team. Of course, we’d love to celebrate these deserving recipients in person. We can’t do that, but they will be celebrated in style.”
