With preparations wrapping up for this Thursday’s AccelerateOTT, Invest Ottawa’s flagship entrepreneurship conference, Techopia Live brought MC Susan Richards to the show to uncover how she’s accelerating her own two startups.
Co-founder of both Givopoly and Numbercrunch, Richards is an advocate for sustainable growth. With Givopoly, a gift-giving solution active in 90 countries, as well as her role as virtual chief financial officer for numerous startups, she knows a thing or two about crunching the numbers.

On the other hand, she and Invest Ottawa’s Ryan Gibson took the opportunity to hype AccelerateOTT, which this year has the theme of “growth hacking.” Gibson ran down an all-star cast of speakers such as Shopify chief operating officer Harley Finkelstein, GrowthX Academy’s Sean Sheppard and Techstars’ Eamonn Carey, while Richards highlighted just how the Ottawa startup community can help each other fulfill their goals through the high-profile networking and speaking event.
