A casino in the United States is suing Eugene Melnyk, claiming the Ottawa Senators owner has failed to pay $900,000 in owings.
The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, which runs the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut, filed a claim in New London Superior Court earlier this summer alleging that Melnyk attempted to pay the casino with a series of bank drafts in March 2017, but that the orders were “subsequently dishonoured” by TD Bank.
The casino is seeking damages, plus costs and interest, against Melnyk.
