Help shape the agenda by taking the survey now

The arrival of the Trump presidency and its threat of crippling tariffs, coupled with the resignation of Justin Trudeau and a pending general election, has business leaders bracing themselves for a tough 2025.

A political and economic crisis is imminent.

What can business leaders in Ottawa do?

The Welch Business Growth Survey, the largest and most comprehensive survey of business leaders in the national capital region, is now live.

Organized by the Ottawa Business Journal and Ottawa Board of Trade, the survey is conducted by Abacus Data.

The survey helps the Ottawa Board of Trade in its advocacy message. Its results are accessed by political and public sector policy makers to better understand the needs of business owners and entrepreneurs.

“It’s times like these when business owners and executives must provide guidance to our political representatives,” says Michael Curran, publisher of the Ottawa Business Journal. “More than ever, they need good input in order to make critical decisions.”

The survey is made possible thanks to several sponsors, including Welch LLP.

“We’re pleased to once again present the survey. Over the past decade, it has become a key resource, providing crucial insights for Ottawa business and community leaders,” says Chris Meyers, a partner at Welch LLP.

This is your chance to shape the agenda.
