Pythian co-founder back at the helm as new CEO

One of the co-founders of Ottawa data management firm Pythian is back in a familiar role.

Paul Vallée has returned to the position of CEO, a job he held jointly from 1997 to 2005, and then on his own from 2005 to 2008.

Since then, Mr. Vallée has served as the company’s executive chairman.

He succeeds Andrew Waitman, who has left to pursue other interests but will stay on the company’s board of directors and will continue to work with the company as an adviser.

Keith Millar is also returning to Pythian as chief revenue officer, leading the company’s sales, marketing, business development and service delivery teams.
