Editor's Note

My Ottawa Life is an occasional column in which we ask local business personalities about their life in the nation’s capital and what they like most about the city.

As founder and former chief executive of Canopy Growth Corp., Bruce Linton is one of the region’s best-known entrepreneurs.

But as much as his connection to Canada’s first publicly traded cannabis company has raised his profile, the Carleton University graduate’s ties to Ottawa and the surrounding area run much deeper.

In the latest instalment of OBJ’s My Ottawa Life series, Linton fills us in on the local radio personality who makes him laugh in the morning, the Ottawa tech magnate he admires most and why throwing a “weird cut” of meat in his smoker is one of his favourite indulgences.
