Public Works is soliciting bids for watermain reconstruction at the Confederation Heights government complex for a deal that is worth up to $5 million.
The federal department is seeking bids to perform the work, which entails the supply and installation of nearly 1,300 metres of piping, according to solicitation information posted on procurement site Merx.
Work must be finished 38 weeks after the contract is awarded, and the department has budgeted between $1 million and $5 million for the project. The winning proponent will be selected based on the lowest bid, Public Works states.There is an optional site visit Oct. 24. Bids for the project are due Nov. 8.
