Local property developer Caylbrooke Corp. Ltd. is planning three three-storey mixed buildings in Barrhaven, according to a planning rationale filed to the city.
The location will be in a largely residential area at 200 Kennevale Dr. and 150 Prem Cir., south of the larger intersection of Strandherd Drive and Fallowfield Road.

– Building one will have retail on the ground floor (5,350 square feet), office space on the second floor (5,695 square feet) and eight apartment units on the third floor totalling 5,435 square feet.
– Building two will have retail and medical use on the ground floor (6,590 square feet), office space on the second floor (6,880 square feet) and four apartment units at the top totalling 6,685 square feet.
– Building three is split vertically. The north side will have seven three-storey townhomes (10,180 square feet in total). The south side will have ground floor retail (3,700 square feet), second-floor office space (3,885 square feet) and four apartment units on the third floor (3,760 square feet.)
Caylbrooke further proposes 97 surface and underground parking spaces in association with the development.
The developer is requesting a change to the city’s official plan to allow a “full range of retail services” on the site, and an amendment to the zoning to change the area to general mixed-use from residential density.
