Mark Motors Group officially broke ground on its new state-of-the-art Gatineau Volkswagen facility on May 26th, marking a major milestone for the family-owned automotive retailer’s expansion into the Outaouais region.
The project follows the group’s 2025 acquisitions of Volkswagen de l’Outaouais and Mercedes-Benz Gatineau, reinforcing its footprint across the Ottawa-Gatineau market. Michael Mrak, dealer principal of Mark Motors Group, emphasized that exceptional customer experience remains at the heart of the family business. The upcoming facility is designed with innovation and sustainability at its core, featuring high-capacity EV charging infrastructure, a spacious contemporary showroom, and a cutting-edge service centre.

The construction project will soon be underway, with local contractors and tradespeople actively bringing the vision to life. Additional details regarding the dealership’s official grand opening will be announced in the coming months.
