BluMetric Environmental has been named one of the top performers on the TSX Venture Exchange after its shares rose 300 per cent in 2021.
The Ottawa-based cleantech firm made the TSX’s 2022 Venture 50 list of the top 50 performing companies on the TSX Venture Exchange in the last calendar year based on trading value, one-year share price change and one-year market capitalization change.
BluMetric, which specializes in water and wastewater treatment, was recognized as a top-10 firm in the clean technology and life sciences sector.
The hospital says donations like RBC’s has helped TOH become one of Canada’s largest teaching and research healthcare institutions.
“We’re honoured by this recognition, and proud of the entire BluMetric team that has made this possible,” CEO Scott MacFabe said in a statement. “The TSX Venture Exchange has been the right platform for us to grow as a publicly traded company, and we’re looking forward to continued success in the cleantech sector, including expanding our military-grade products for mobile potable water and wastewater treatment.”
BluMetric has more than 160 employees in 10 offices across Canada. The company, which has roots going back more than 40 years, serves customers in the commercial and industrial, military, mining and government sectors in Canada and the United States.
BluMetric shares finished the day holding steady at 60 cents on the TSX Venture Exchange.
