Ottawa-based Calian Group says it will be extending its work on a pair of military training projects after re-winning two long-term contracts with the Department of National Defence.
The first agreement will see Calian provide training services for the Canadian Armed Forces’ Military Personnel Generation Formation, which runs training and recruitment programs.
The one-year deal is worth $7 million and includes two one-year extension options, which could bring its total value to $21 million.

The other contract, with the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Schools runs for 30 months and is worth $5 million. It comes with two one-year extension options that could bring its total value to over $8 million. Calian has provided training at these schools since 2008.
