DWP Solutions will be consolidated as part of Calian’s Ottawa-based Business and Technology Services (BTS), she said.

Calian’s BTS president, Kevin Ford, said the firm continues to look to acquire companies that fit with its strategy of evolving its service lines and diversifying its customer base.

“For the BTS division, our goal is to continue to grow a vibrant services business that encompasses Health, Training and Information Technology,” Mr. Ford said in a release.

DWP president David Presley said the deal with Calian (TSX:CTY) will be good for his company’s existing customers and subcontractors.

The purchase was effective June 30.
