Calian Technologies has acquired tech and securities consulting company DWP Solutions Inc., the company said Thursday.
DWP Solutions has been in business in Ottawa for 18 years with a variety of government and defence customers.
“With revenues of approximately $6 million, we expect this acquisition to be EBITDA accretive from day one,” Calian CFO Jacqueline Gauthier said in a release.

DWP Solutions will be consolidated as part of Calian’s Ottawa-based Business and Technology Services (BTS), she said.
Calian’s BTS president, Kevin Ford, said the firm continues to look to acquire companies that fit with its strategy of evolving its service lines and diversifying its customer base.
“For the BTS division, our goal is to continue to grow a vibrant services business that encompasses Health, Training and Information Technology,” Mr. Ford said in a release.
DWP president David Presley said the deal with Calian (TSX:CTY) will be good for his company’s existing customers and subcontractors.
The purchase was effective June 30.
