Calian Group has once again won a major multi-year contract to provide research services to one of Canada’s most prominent military training institutions.

Calian said Monday it’s been awarded a five-year deal worth up to $32.5 million to help professors at Kingston’s Royal Military College conduct R&D in engineering, science, social science and the humanities.

The Kanata-based firm has been providing research services to RMC since 1997.

“Customer retention is the first pillar of the Calian growth strategy,” CEO Kevin Ford said in a statement. “Calian is honored to continue to support the RMC research mission.”

The latest contract win comes just a few weeks after Calian said it was boosting its revenue projections for fiscal 2021 on the strength of a growing pipeline of new business.

The company, which employs more than 4,500 people around the world, is now projecting revenues of between $460 million and $500 million in the current fiscal year – up from a top end of $480 million in its previous outlook.
