One of the capital’s largest engineering firms has appointed eight new partners as it looks to continue growing its presence in the region.
J.L. Richards & Associates has named Tamara Gauthier, Robert Langlois, Matthew Morkem, Tracy O’Brien, Joël Primeau, Steve Saxton, Sarah Vereault and Jane Wilson associates in the firm, it announced recently.
The new partners will play a key role in “defining the strategic direction of the company and in challenging JLR to develop and grow year after year,” president Guy Cormier said in a statement.

The company says the group features employees from a range of areas, including engineering, accounting and urban planning.

Founded in 1955, J.L. Richards is headquartered in Ottawa and has 300 employees in seven cities across Ontario. The company offers services in engineering, architecture, planning and project management.
