A nine-storey mixed-use building is part of a new proposal that would see hundreds of condos, townhomes and single-detached dwellings constructed in a new Stittsville subdivision.
In documents recently filed with the city, developer Zayoun Group says it wants to build a 175-unit condominium complex with retail space on the ground floor as part of its plan to develop a 22-acre site at 6171 Hazeldean Rd., near the northeast corner of Carp Road.
The proposal also calls for another 180 condo units in five separate buildings as well as 154 townhouses and 20 single-detached homes. According to planning documents, the development will be served by a network of internal streets and will also feature a 1.8-acre park.
