With businesses starting to reopen and many employers preparing to reopen their offices, city officials say bylaw officers will soon resume cracking down on parking scofflaws.
Starting June 29, the city will once again be enforcing time-limit rules on parking in specific zones. Some parking restrictions had been lifted earlier this spring as many residents began working from home amid COVID-19.
Parking control officers will issue warnings during the first week that the rules are reintroduced and start handing out tickets on July 6.
