A developer has filed an application for a new 21-storey, 116-unit highrise in Centretown.
Applicant RLA Architecture, working with property owner Upscale Homes, is looking for a zoning bylaw amendment to allow a proposed highrise residential development at 339-343 Gloucester St., between Lyon and Bay streets.

Zoning currently allows for the proposed 21-storey height, but the application seeks to reduce the required setbacks to the side and rear yard. The width of the driveway and associated aisle would also be too short under current zoning bylaws.
The proposed development – just a few blocks from Lyon Station on the light-rail transit line – would include a total of 12 underground parking spaces and 142 bicycle spaces.
