Local user interface design startup You.i has hired a new CFO.
Peter Rose, who was previously chief financial officer at BelAir Networks, takes over from Luc Duquette, who has been in the role for almost five years.
The appointment is effective immediately, the company said on Friday.
The company highlighted Mr. Rose’s experience raising large equity funding rounds and taking local companies Solidum Systems and Milkyway Networks to market exit in a news release announcing his appointment.
“We set our goal: add a world-class CFO with significant operations and fundraising experience within hyper-growth companies,” You.i CEO Jason Flick said in the release. “In Peter, we’ve not only met, but exceeded our ambitious goal and I’m very proud to welcome him to our team.”
You.i was named one of OBJ’s fastest-growing companies earlier this month.
