Calian Group announced Tuesday its IT professional services line has secured a $3-million service and support contract with the Department of National Defence.
The contract runs for one year with two one-year options attached to it.
“Calian is pleased to have been selected to work with DND on this strategic and important project,” Sandra Cote, Calian’s vice-president, IT and professional services said in a statement. “Our goal is to continue to provide governments and private organizations alike with world class IT professional services.”

Calian CEO Kevin Ford called the contract an “exciting win” for the firm’s IT professional services line.
“It strengthens our existing relationship with DND and aligns with the service line evolution pillar of our growth strategy,” Mr. Ford said in a statement.
