Makerspace North at the City Centre will play host this weekend to Random Hacks of Kindness Ottawa, which is, as the name suggests, a hackathon for social good.
Kinaxis is a sponsor of the event, which will bring together volunteer developers and tech-savvy do-gooders to work with charities, community groups and social enterprises.
Kinaxis CTO Jack Noppé said the firm is passionate about using technology to solve complex problems.

Kinaxis staff will also be lending their skills at the two-day event, which is still looking for more volunteers from various backgrounds, including computer programmers, project managers, user interface and user experience specialists and marketing professionals.
