Mohawk adds another Ottawa medical building to its portfolio

As it promised last month, Toronto-based Mohawk Medical Properties REIT has once again added to its Ottawa portfolio.

Mohawk announced Thursday it has acquired the Carling Broadview Medical Centre at 770 Broadview Ave., which is currently home to 52 medical professionals.

The acquisition comes after December’s deal that saw Mohawk purchase the Phenix Professional Building on Montreal Road.

Mohawk, which focuses on medical professional buildings, now has four Ottawa properties and is planning to close a deal for another one by the end of the month.
