Ottawa home prices fell in February when compared to the month before, according to new figures released this week.
The Teranet-National Bank Composite House price index for Ottawa, based on information collected from public land registries, went down by 0.8 per cent when compared to January 2013. There was a year-over-year increase of 2.4 per cent.
That was slightly lower than the national price index, which increased 2.7 per cent when compared to a year earlier.

There were monthly price declines in Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton, Montreal, Toronto and Victoria. Halifax, Quebec, Vancouver and Winnipeg all saw increases.
