Housing prices in Ottawa increased slightly year-over-year in December but were down when compared to the month before, according to the Teranet-National Bank Composite Home Price Index.
The index, which tracks changes in the prices of single-family homes, was up 1.1 per cent when compared to December 2012. When compared to November, however, the index decreased 0.3 per cent.
Ottawa was below the average month-over-month and year-over-year increases for the 11 cities the index measures.
