Get in on a good thing: Time to apply for the 2026 Fastest Growing Companies

We’re doing things a bit differently this year.

In anticipation of the launch of OBJ’s new magazine starting in February 2026, we’re opening the call for applications for our annual Fastest Growing Companies earlier than usual.

What remains the same? Well, we still want to hear from the region’s fastest-growing private companies. It’s an opportunity for companies, regardless of sector, to be recognized for substantial, sustainable and profitable growth.

“This is a fantastic program that we run every year and that celebrates some of our city’s most successful, ambitious companies,” said OBJ editor in chief Anne Howland. “For the 2026 program, we’ll be building on our editorial coverage with more in-depth profiles complemented by great design and photography.”

For 2026, we’ve also expanded the reach of the program. Eligible companies can be headquartered in the National Capital Region or eastern Ontario (in the counties of Renfrew; Frontenac; Leeds & Grenville; Lanark; Prescott & Russell; Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry). All must demonstrate significant year-over-year revenue growth over a three-year period. In year one, companies must have revenue of at least $100,000. In year three, revenues must have risen to at least $500,000.

Applicants will be ranked by percentage revenue growth between year one and year three of their most recent three-year fiscal period. OBJ does not publish specific dollar revenue figures, only percentage increases.

The top companies will be profiled in the inaugural issue of the new OBJ magazine, coming out in February, as well as online at obj.ca. All companies will be invited to attend a special event later in the year.

Fastest Growing Companies is supported by GGFL LLP.

Apply here. The deadline for applications is Friday, Oct. 10, 2025.
