Asian grocery chain T&T Supermarkets is opening a second location in Ottawa at Hazeldean Mall in Kanata. The 38,000-square-foot store will open in the winter of 2024.
The company’s first Ottawa location is in the Hunt Club Market Place at 224 Hunt Club Rd.

“Over the past few months, we have received so many inquiries about rumours of our new Kanata location,” said Jimmy Wen, T&T district manager. “Kanata is a growing community, with talent coming from all over the country — this new store is going to be a great experience for them.”
The new T&T store will anchor Hazeldean Mall and feature Asian snacks and gifts, produce, seafood, bakery and self-serve hot meal options.
Regional Group acquired Hazeldean Mall in 2019 and since then has been revitalizing the property, including the addition of a Goodlife Fitness Club. The addition of T&T and Goodlife represents a combined space of nearly 100,000 square feet.

T&T Supermarkets is the largest Asian supermarket chain in Canada, operating stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec and Ontario. T&T was founded in Vancouver in 1993 and is headquartered in Richmond, B.C., with offices in Toronto.
T&T recently announced new stores in London, Ont., and Bellevue, Wash., T&T’s first store in the U.S.
