Ottawa-based Kinaxis has appointed an experienced software industry executive to the new role of senior vice-president of customer success operations, the company announced late Thursday.
Ed Shepherdson comes to the supply chain management solutions provider after his most recent stint as senior vice-president of customer success and business optimization at Coveo Solutions, a software-as-a-service company. He also spent 18 years at Cognos, six of them as vice-president of global customer support.
“Having a passion for running organizations focused on putting the customer first, I saw Kinaxis as a great fit for me personally and professionally given its reputation in the market,” Mr. Shepherdson said in a statement.

At Kinaxis (TSX:KXS), Mr. Shepherdson will lead the company’s customer support team and the customer data centre operations team. He will also drive new initiatives across the broader client services organization.
