Biggest biz achievement: Since I joined the company in 2000, my team and I have profoundly restructured how software is sold at Entrust Datacard, improved the product and software portfolios, grown the company’s size and revenue and successfully led numerous acquisition and integration processes.
Biggest obstacle: Through the dot-com bubble, the financial crisis and two major acquisitions, I’ve played a key role in shaping Entrust Datacard’s future and ensuring the company flourished. I helped lead the transition from a traditional solution delivery model to the company’s software-as-a-service product offering, which now accounts for more than 70 percent of the security segment’s revenue and is the company’s fastest growing product segment.
First job: Hockey referee
What’s left to do: Being an excellent father and husband requires daily attention – it is something that I will never feel that I have completed. The information security industry is incredibly dynamic. I am confident that the years to come will be full of opportunities to develop innovative technology that really makes a meaningful contribution to safety and security of the digital world.
Favourite pastime: Spending time at the cottage.
