Former CTV Ottawa anchor Graham Richardson has joined Edelman Global Advisory (EGA) as managing director of media and communications, the company announced yesterday.

Richardson will be based in EGA’s Ottawa office, but will play a national role.

In his new position, Richardson will leverage his extensive media expertise to provide strategic communications counsel to clients across various sectors, the company said.

Richardson brings more than three decades of media experience to the firm. Over his 31-year career, he has covered major national and international events.

According to the company, Richardson’s “decades in front-line journalism, including in-depth coverage of all three levels of government, will allow him to help clients navigate complex stories and potentially explosive issues while engaging with the public. His experience will be invaluable in crafting compelling narratives and managing communications strategies.”
