Ottawa-based QNX software, a subsidiary of BlackBerry, announced Monday its software has been installed in the infotainment and telematic systems of more than 50 million vehicles, manufactured all over the world.

The announcement comes as QNX is in Las Vegas this week, showcasing its latest technology at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show.

“The automotive industry is constantly evolving, but as always, our priority is to provide platforms that have the performance, reliability, and flexibility that customers need to develop compelling, differentiated products,” QNX’s global director of business development Andrew Poliak, said in a statement.
