Ten Ottawa-Gatineau companies are being recognized as the National Capital Region’s top employers and will be honoured just ahead of a new summit looking to identify the best ways to attract and retain talent.
The Ottawa Business Journal and Ottawa Board of Trade have announced the recipients of the 2019-20 Employees’ Choice Awards, an annual recognition of the region’s best places to work. This year’s ten recipients – selected after a survey and analysis of the companies’ workforces – run the gamut of sectors, from tech to hospitality to marketing to, perhaps fittingly, recruitment.
The 2019 Employees’ Choice Awards winners will be honoured at a cocktail event on Monday, Sept. 23 at the Brookstreet Hotel (not far to travel for one of the recipients). Afterwards, attendees will hear from executive coach Craig Dowden, author of Do Good to Lead Well: The Science and Practice of Positive Leadership.
