With the leisurely summer season winding down, Ottawa’s business community got back into the swing of networking in a big way on Monday.
OBJ and the Ottawa Board of Trade hosted Ottawa’s annual Best Networking Golf Tournament at the Camelot Golf and Country Club, attracting a sold-out contingent of 144 golfers.
It was the first time the decade-old event was staged at Camelot, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.

Other prominent attendees included La Cite college president Lise Bourgeois and Paul Guindon, CEO of Commissionaires Ottawa.
Welch LLP managing partner Jim McConnery hosted a post-round reception on the patio at Camelot’s clubhouse. Dozens of golfers enjoyed cold beers, cocktails and boxed dinners, but mostly they were just happy to reconnect after nearly 18 months of being apart due to the pandemic.
