Associations are a vital part of the National Capital Region’s economy. Executives at not-for-profit organizations now have a unique opportunity to benchmark their operations and understand how their peers approach common business problems – enabling them to better serve their members and the wider community.

Now in its second year, the Ottawa Association Exchange is a valuable multimedia resource that enables association executives to enhance their operations by providing them with the latest information on best practices and comparative data.

The goal is to engage decision-makers from leading associations based in the National Capital Region and help them understand some of their key operational issues while providing relevant information to help them increase their effectiveness.

But to do this, we need your help.

The OTUS Group and OBJ have prepared a quick 10-minute survey, conducted by Abacus Data, that can be accessed at http://www.oax-survey.ca.

This year’s Ottawa Association Exchange survey has a special focus on risk identification, mitigation and financial management as well as sections on outsourcing and engaging new members.

Help your sector become stronger and more sustainable. If you work for an association or member-based not-for-profit, please make your voice heard. And don’t forget to share the survey link with your peers and professional network.
