Major homebuilders and residential development experts in Ottawa came together on Aug. 26, 2026 at Invest Ottawa to discuss how the sector is evolving and the future of how homes in our city will get built.
Moderated by OBJ editor-in-chief Anne Howland, the roundtable brought together perspectives from across the industry, from association leaders and trades educators to the private and public players building their name in the industry. The discussion explored the factors driving trends in homebuilding, the city’s capacity to hit development targets, and the complex web of infrastructure needs that influence progress in the sector.
With the support of lead partner La Cité Collégiale, the roundtable discussion will serve as the foundation for Ottawa Business Journal’s Executive Report on Homes & Construction, to be launched in the upcoming November issue of OBJ’s flagship magazine.
