Revenue down for Clearford in 2014 Q2

Ottawa-based Clearford Water Systems had second-quarter revenues of $86,378, the company reported Friday, compared with $207,228 in the same quarter last year.

The water management and sanitation system provider reported an operating loss before financing costs of $977,238, up from $780,254 for the second quarter of 2013.

Clearford (TSXV: CLI) had financing costs of $301,167, resulting in a net loss of $1,261,533 for the quarter, or two cents per share.

Clearford president and CEO Kevin Loiselle said he expects his company to be a major supplier of cost-effective and sustainable water and waste water systems for Canadian and international customers.

“The response to the Clearford Onesystem, particularly in Colombia, India and Ontario, continues to be very encouraging,” Mr. Loiselle said in a statement.
