Ottawa cleantech company BluMetric announced Wednesday it had secured a $1.1-million contract to design and deliver a water treatment plant to a multinational mining company in northern Ontario.
The plant will make sure infiltrated water pumped from the mine will meet Ministry of Environment requirements.
“This contract is a result of our team’s ability to approach each customer’s situation with innovative thinking, solve site-specific problems, and still deliver quickly,” BluMetric’s water division president, Dan Scroggins, said in a statement.
