Halogen Software announced Monday it has hired two new vice-presidents, with both successful candidates coming from the ranks of IBM.
Karen Williams and Marc Harrison have been appointed vice-president product development and vice-president corporate development respectively.
Ms. Williams was vice-president development for IBM’s business analytics, BI and predictive analytics division. At Halogen, she will be tasked with overseeing the software development and quality teams, focusing on the quick delivery of new products, features and enhancements of Halogen’s talent management suite.

Mr. Harrison was most recently an acquisition and strategic partnership practice leader in IBM’s Tivoli business unit in Austin, Texas. He will be charged with finding strategic business opportunities to continue Halogen’s growth, be it through acquisitions, or partnerships and alliances.

Mr. Harrison – who is starting a new position created by the company – said he was excited to join the Halogen team.
