Two local companies headed to C100’s 48 Hours in the Valley winter 2015 cohort

Two local startups are among the companies selected for the C100 48 Hours in the Valley winter 2015 cohort.

 Gatineau-based FOKO and Kanata’s Graphite Software will join 15 other companies flying to San Francisco for a series of meetings and events between Dec. 7 and 9.

The C100 is a San Francisco-based non-profit group focused on connecting Canadian companies with partners in Silicon Valley.

The companies on the trip will receive mentoring and introductions to American investors.

C100 executive director Joanne Fedeyko said the program will give the companies all the tools they need to develop into world-class organizations.

“At a time when Canada is making a greater impact than ever before with massive billion-dollar valuations, IPOs and game-changing companies, 48 Hours in the Valley allows us to help build the world’s next wave of Canada’s elite startups,” Ms. Fedeyko said in a statement.
