L-Spark company to support Tarion’s paper-free move

Ontario’s new home warranty provider Tarion announced Monday it will no longer accept paper Certification of Completion and Possession forms, but an L-Spark company is ready to fill that void.

Part of the L-Spark incubator’s second cohort, Ottawa-based Buildmetric has designed new home warranty management software to support the transition from paper to electronic documents. Its solution will allow builders to complete the necessary forms from their mobile devices.

Builders registered on Tarion’s BuilderLink will also be able to pre-populate forms with data from their profiles, thereby reducing errors and eliminating inefficiencies caused by manually filling out paper documents.
