A smaller number of larger construction permits this February boosted the combined value by 34.3 per cent year-over-year, according to municipal records.
The value of local construction permits was up $37.9 million compared to last year, even though fewer permits were issued.
The city issued 350 permits with a combined value of $148.8 million, compared to 421 permits valued at $110.78 million a year earlier.
